Active between 1994-1999, Strictly Ballroom was an emo/hardcore punk band. The band stayed underground for its run, but left a heavy impact on California's local hardcore scene. (paraphrased from wikipedia). According to Discogs they were under the label "Tenderness Records" circa 2013, or at least someone was who had the recordings. RateYourMusic.com users describe this band as midwest emo, which couldn't be further from the truth and fails to capture how unique a band like SB is.
